A warm welcome to the Iceni Botanical Artists website!
We are a friendly group, and our aim is to promote the creation and enjoyment of botanical art and illustration of the highest standard. We have a simple application process, where you get a chance to tell us a bit about you, and we take a look at a few samples of your work.
Please note: Due to the nature of our exhibitions and group events, we are unable to offer membership to artists living outside Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
We are very sorry to disappoint, but do hope artists from beyond East Anglia find a similar group in their region.
We currently have some vacancies in our membership, to make a joining enquiry please contact Rosemary Dodgson, Chair, directly by email: rosemary@dodgson.info
Alternatively please fill out the below application form and return it to the IBA secretary with any images and relevant information - info@juilagroves.co.uk

IN MEMORIAM - TINA BONE 1950 – 2026
Iceni Botanical Artists were deeply saddened by the news of Tina’s passing at the beginning of 2026. She had been our Chair since Nov. 2021 and worked tirelessly on running the group in her quiet, kindly, well organised way. Amongst her many talents, she skillfully managed a three year project and expertly designed, edited and published their book “Fullers Mill Garden – A Jewel in the Forest”.
She married young at 17 and had three children. She had painted as a hobby from childhood, and encouraged at school, she worked hard at developing her extraordinary artistic talent by self education and acquiring qualifications along the way, and she became a professional artist in 2005
She had a notable long list of art publications, including the”River Friend Series” and exhibited widely, frequently in the Cambridge area, winning many awards. She specialised in three areas of interest, Natural History, Botanical Illustration and Illuminated Lettering in gold leaf.
She also found time to write poetry, and enjoyed sporting and musical activities, and we all admired and wondered just how she found time to fit them all in.
Through the legacy of her paintings, we are all able to see the world through her eyes, as a most beautiful place to be treasured.
